All the Club Membership Benefits Explained:
Access members only climbing/social trips
Automatically become member of the BMC and benefit from the BMC Club Membership perks (details in the Membership FAQ)
Subsidised entry to climbing/social trips (some trips are a mix of members and non-members)
Free entry to selected social events
We occasionally have goodies or discounts from partners and sponsors. For example: climbing gyms, equipment, osteopathy and beer!
We do our best to make you feel welcome and help you overcome barriers so that we can enjoy climbing together!
What You Need:
Willingness to learn and practise if you have minimal climbing experience
You must be over 18 years old
Your own personal climbing equipment, for example: climbing shoes, a harness and a helmet. (For people newer to climbing and need some advice, hit us up on Discord or email us and we can figure something out together!)
Bring your shiny or well looked after, seasoned gear to the trips if you have them, such as a belay device, a rope, quickdraws, trad gear and bouldering pad. Don't worry though if you don't have some or any of these, sharing is caring :)
Pay an annual subscription fee of £37 for a membership for the calendar year
A sense of humour or incredible belaying tekkers. You can also get by with an inclination to share delicious snacks!
