We organise outdoor trips (including carpools) through Discord. It is highly recommended that you join to engage with other club members or ask questions. We announce sign up for trips on Discord and a Whatsapp community. Trips can sell out fast so keep an eye out! You need to be a paid member to go on outdoor trips, but don't worry you can sign up to a trip before filling out the membership form.
Sport
Sport
Our sport climbing trips are always popular. This year features Portland, Gower, and Wye Valley. In past years we have run trips to Swanage and the Peak District too.
Trad
Trad
Trad climbing has grown in popularity in the club over the last few years. This year we will be going to Snowdonia, the Peak District, Dartmoor, the Gower, Wye Valley and Fairy Cave. Last year our trad trips included the Lake District and Cornwall as well.
Bouldering
Bouldering
Building from the success of previous years, we will be running dedicated bouldering trips to Font and the Peak District. We have also incorporated bouldering into our trips to Portland, The Lake District and Dartmoor.
Scrambling
Scrambling
Scrambling is our most recent discipline in the club. We have had organised guided trips (with volunteer guides from our most experienced club members) to Snowdonia and the Lake District.
